Vernon is a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps with a background encompassing satellite communications, network engineering, IT operations, and project management. His career experience has included recovery and relocation of technology in Iraq in support of the Department of State (DOS) mission, telecommunications backbone reorganization for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and information technology and cybersecurity consulting and project management for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Cancer Institute (NCI).
In his free time, Vernon plays video games, plays guitar and sings for a rock band, works on his car, and practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing at his local gym.
